After the boat sells and payment clears, the buyer coordinates pickup with you. We help clarify access and timing and provide the applicable donation documentation, including Form 1098-C when required.

We review the vessel, ownership paperwork, photos, location and your timeline. Tell us about a storage deadline before committing. Review does not guarantee acceptance, a sale price or a pickup date; you remain responsible for storage, insurance and other ownership costs until transfer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it cost me anything to donate?
No. There is no charge to request a review or complete an accepted donation through us. You remain responsible for storage, moorage, insurance, security, liens, and other owner obligations until the authorized transfer is complete.
Will you take a boat that doesn’t run?
Often, yes. We review powerboats, sailboats, cruisers, yachts, PWCs, trailers, and non-running vessels case by case. When in doubt, send it in or call us.
Do I need to retitle to the nonprofit?
Not based on an initial inquiry. If your boat is accepted, our team provides step-by-step transfer instructions and coordinates local pickup and title completion seamlessly.
What deduction do I get?
You receive applicable transaction records, including Form 1098-C when required. Under IRS rules, your deduction is generally the smaller of gross sale proceeds or fair market value. Consult a qualified tax professional about your specific tax situation.
How fast is the process?
Timing varies. Ownership records, the information provided, storage and access, market interest, and the individual review all affect the process. We keep you updated along the way.
